Amy Fitzpatrick
Co-Founder, Creator, Coordinator, Giver
Amy grew up in a family of creators, builders and givers. Her grandfather was a Master Carpenter that built in Southwest, VA, Eastern TN, Baltimore, MD and Sarasota, FL over the span of 80+ years. As a farmer, he also knew the lessons of sowing and reaping and was known for his generous “over-sowing” and sharing of the abundant harvest. He planted both physical and spiritual seeds of giving in his family and left a legacy that continues to impact future generations. Amy’s brother followed in their grandfather’s footsteps and has spent the last 30+ years using his gifts as a creative and builder. Amy loved to visit her brother on the job site and grew up watching her family live as providers to those in need while stewarding their resources and land so that others could live better lives. These influences imparted the love of building and the gift of giving to Amy who believes everyone should have the opportunity for a better way of living. She considers the development of relationships and property a sacred trust, and an open door for future growth in the community and generations to follow.
Naturally, when Amy met Todd 25 years ago and he was building houses, she immediately felt at home. Being together as a team in marriage, parenting and business has become the most meaningful work and has challenged them to stay the course as they get to fulfill their mission and purpose in life. Amy leads project coordination and client relations and is the interface between clients and our team of subcontractors. She helps clients dream, plan and design their dream home and works with the Trumark team to execute and deliver those plans in the field.
When Amy isn’t helping Todd, she loves being with her kids and encouraging them to do what they love. As a nutritionist and yoga teacher, Amy also has a passion for empowering people to nourish mind, body and spirit so they can live healthy, whole lives. Her favorite way to spend free time is teaching yoga, gathering to eat with family and friends, and helping others care for themselves.
